While the girls had a 'pamper party' , Aaron, Rich and myself went to Haynes Motor Museum, at Sparkford in Somerset. It was a really good day out. About two hundred cars in seven halls. It was most impressive. Aaron picked out some of his favourite cars and I have included them in the blog.
I'm as tall as this De Lorean. But in the next picture.....
Why have I grown so tall!
This American ambulance was fun. By pressing all the buttons on the panel, Aaron had the roof lights, grille lights, 'nee naws' and sirens going all at the same time. It also played the tune from 'Ghost busters'.
Aaron had a try at driving on the simulator and did quite well.
I've been practising. Now watch carefully dad and I will show you how it's done.
Come on dad! - Try and get your knee down on the next bend.
Can we take this one home Dad?
An American Duesenberg - very impressive.
One of Aaron's favourites - a 1929 Bugatti
Michael Schumacers' F1 car from 1996.
F1 trainee driver - preparing for next season.

Yes these are Hannahs' hands. Very well done.
The beauty therapist did a good job. She was imprssed with the length of Hannahs' nails.
I think I wll do this job when I grow up. A hint of lip gloss on each cheek is the latest style.
A dab here - and a dab there! Relax Auntie Trudy - I'm very good at putting on 'lip gloss'!!!

I think Hannah is a 'trainee' ninja!
Emily in her 'film star' mode!

We went to see Beth on her birthday. We surprised her and Aaron by meeting them from school. Of course it was straight home to open her presents. She was really pleased to get a present from New Zealand. I didn't get a picture of her blowing out the candles because they managed to flatten the battery before we got to that point in the proceedings. Still, she is having a 'Pamper party' for her friends next Saturday [ nails, lipstick etc] so no doubt more pictures will be taken then. Aaron, Rich and me, are going to a motor museum while the women do their 'thing'.
One present at a time. I'll start with this one.
So tell me Beth - how does it work?
I think I can see uncle Pauls' house.
What can it be?
A very lucky birthday girl!
Aaron had some 'extras' too.
